Foodstep Uganda runs an orphange in Entebbe, which is home to just over 100 children ranging from babies to teens.<\/p>\n

Every child has a different story, but the well qualified staff at Foodstep have helped to create a loving and nuturing environment for all. Imagine having a family with 100 brothers and sisters!<\/p>\n

These images are amongst a collection donated to Foodstep Uganda. This work has also won a commendation from the RPS (royal PhotographicSociet) Documentary group.<\/p>\n

Pride. This young man was very keen to make sure that I made him look cool. I realised how noticeable it is that the children at Foodstep Uganda have consistently high self esteem – a tribute to the organisation.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Baby Moses was just 5 days old when this image was taken. He was born prematurely, and had been abandoned by a young mother.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Here is another shot of Baby Moses, who is now 7 weeks old thanks to the constant attention of the staff at Foodstep Uganda.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
