This is the perfect opportunity to have your work critically reviewed. Here is a chance to have a portfolio review with not one practicing photographer or curator – but three! Talk to a practicing fine art photographer, a magazine editor and a curator in three 10 minute slots spread over an hour period.
If you are already working on a large project, you may wish to use all or part of it here. Alternatively this may be the perfect sandbox to explore an approach(es) that you would not normally consider.
To make the most of this opportunity you may wish to concentrate on just one or two series of work. This way the reviewers can comment on the narrative and structure of your work rather than individual images.
Participants will be asked to provide an electronic version of their portfolio before the event. The image sizes don’t need to be huge, but the quality should be sufficient to show your work off at its best.
